Useful for applying glitz and glitter directly to a fabric.
Cup sequins give a little extra shine due to their facetted nature but stand proud and are liable to catch a little more.
These are normally applied directly to a fabric by bringing the cotton up through the fabric, through the sequins central hole, through a small bead (see Beads), back through the central hole of the sequin and back through the fabric. For full security on stretch fabrics, secure the cotton after each sequin has been applied so that a break does not mean the loss of a whole string of sequins.
